Blueberry Chia Pudding by Tractor At Home

Frozen BC blueberries are on the menu at these local restaurants this spring

Although the weather is starting to get nicer, frozen BC blueberries are still the go-to blueberry product during the spring. Until fresh season starts in July, you can find frozen BC blueberries in the freezer aisle of your local grocer, or in special menu items at local restaurants!

The following food spots in the Lower Mainland are using frozen BC blueberries to make some unique and delicious dishes for British Columbians – which one is your favourite?

1. Blue Moon Mocktail at Botanist – Vancouver

At the Botanist in Vancouver, BC, head bartender Jeff Savage’s Blue Moon mocktail is made with thyme, cedar, a citrus blend, and frozen BC blueberries. Choose this mocktail at your next Botanist brunch, or visit the Recipes page to make your own BC blueberry mocktail at home.

2. Blueberry Apple Crisp at Tractor At Home – Lower Mainland

Tractor At Home is Tractor Foods’ at-home meal prep and delivery service. This spring they’re offering customers a Blueberry Apple Crisp, made with frozen BC blueberries, for a limited time. Developed by Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods’ menu developer, Harper Moll, this crisp is ready for your next dinner party (solo or with someone worth sharing).

3. Blueberry Chia Pudding at Tractor At Home – Lower Mainland

Also available through Tractor At Home is the Blueberry Chia Pudding; made with a frozen BC blueberry compote that’s blended into the pudding for a smooth and creamy texture. With two superfoods as ingredients, this is the breakfast option to get you up and at ‘em.
