Food Safety Programs 2010
The BC Blueberry Council is committed helping growers produce safe high quality fruit. This year we offer On-Farm Food Safety Workshops and Farm Assessments free of charge to blueberry growers through our funding partners. The Farm Assessments help growers prepare for food safety audits such as the new CanadaGAP program. Resources such as posters, worker training checklists (English, Punjabi and Spanish), and record-keeping forms are also available free of charge. A food safety program for Roadside Market Stands is also under development.
