    On March 12th join BC Blueberries for a virtual cook-along hosted by Chef Dez

    [Abbotsford, BC] Purchase a BC Blueberry three-course meal kit from Local Food Supply Co., and receive exclusive access to the “BC Blueberries for Dinner” virtual cook-along event on Friday, March 12th from 6-7:30 PM. 

    To celebrate BC’s frozen blueberry season, the BC Blueberry Council has teamed up with Abbotsford food supplier, Local Food Supply Co., to create a custom BC Blueberries meal kit. Your meal kit purchase gives you access to our exclusive BC Blueberries for Dinner virtual event on March 12th, hosted by Fraser Valley celebrity Chef Dez. Don’t miss out!

    Meal kits ($85) are available for pre-order at localfoodsupplyco.com. With limited seats available, claim your spot by following the online instructions after purchasing your meal kit.

    BC Blueberries for Dinner 

    Although BC Blueberries are available in the freezer aisle year-round, it’s important to celebrate this local blue superfood and the special region where it's grown. On Friday, March 12th, registered participants will attend a private Zoom cooking demo of the three-course BC Blueberry meal kit, led by Chef Dez. Participants are encouraged to follow the live presentation using their own meal kits, or watch and learn valuable cooking tricks.

    This limited-edition BC Blueberry meal kit is available now in select quantities on localfoodsupplyco.com. Meal kits are available for delivery to Fraser Valley residents, or can be picked up in-person at Local Food Supply Co. 

    Each meal kit contains ingredients to make the following meals: 

    • BC Blueberry Prosciutto Goat Cheese Flatbread
    • Roasted Yam and BC Blueberry Kale Salad
    • BC Blueberry Sauce

    What to do Before March 12th

    1. Pre-order your BC Blueberry Meal Kit on localfoodsupplyco.com, and receive your meal kit on Thursday March 11th – just in time for the BC Blueberries for Dinner event at 6 PM on March 12th. 
    2. When you receive your meal kit confirmation email, make sure you sign up for the cook-along event through Eventbrite to claim your spot. 
    3. Share your excitement on social by tagging @bcblueberries and @localfoodsupplyco. 
    4. Receive your private Zoom link via email leading up to the event. 
    5. On Friday March 12th from 6-7:30 PM, attend the Zoom cook-along event hosted by Chef Dez! Follow along or watch and learn some valuable cooking tips.
